| Mozart | Ave verum corpus K618 |
| Mozart | Clarinet Concerto in A major K622 |
| Tchaikovsky | Preghiera from Mozartiana (Suite No 4 Op 61) |
| Tchaikovsky | Symphony No 5 in E minor Op 64 |
Early booking is recommended for this rare Bath appearance by the world-famous London Philharmonic Orchestra, with the young Ukrainian maestro Kirill Karabits, who has been thrilling audiences in the South West since becoming principal conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra last year. The programme contrasts Mozart’s sublime Ave verum corpus, sung by Bath’s own Camerata, with Tchaikovsky’s orchestral transcription of it. And the two composers are represented at greater length in Mozart’s mellow Clarinet Concerto, played by the peerless Michael Collins, and Tchaikovsky’s electrifying Fifth Symphony.
