Prizewinners in Japan, Italy and Germany, and regular contributors to the programme of the Wigmore Hall in London, the “powerful, passionate and precise” Doric String Quartet are among Britain’s leading young chamber ensembles. In this lunchtime concert, they play Beethoven’s dramatic early C minor Quartet, and are joined by the dynamic young Israeli clarinettist Chen Halevi for Mozart’s profound Clarinet Quintet.
