Two of the nation’s favourite singers, Dame Felicity Lott and Sir Thomas Allen, join forces with master accompanist Malcolm Martineau in what is bound to be an evening to treasure. It begins with an anniversary homage to Mendelssohn through a group of his songs and duets, and continues with duets from four great Mozart operas. After the interval, a touching scene from Strauss’s opera Arabella precedes a sequence of songs and duets from some of the 20th-century’s most enduring musicals. Early booking is recommended for this very special occasion.
