Peter King, director of music at Bath Abbey and a much recorded recitalist, displays the power and versatility of the Abbey’s Klais organ in 19th- and 20th-century homages to Handel, transcriptions of a Mozart piano duet sonata and a Mendelssohn prelude and fugue, and two of Schumann’s ingenious and melodious canonic studies. A lunchtime treat!
